IN TWO MONTHS 400 PEOPLE ARRESTED: Criminals are losing the battle with police

In the Police Academy in Belgrade (KPA) official reception of new students has been held, to who Minister of Internal affairs, Nebojsa Stefanovic, sad that criminals are losing the battle with police and he expects from the students to be the bearers of that fight in the future.

Stefanovic pointed that the efficient fight depends of highly educated police officers, who must have the strength to carry out every assignment the state puts in front of them.

He emphasized that the state wants to show that society can count on police and citizens can feel safe. 

Stefanovic said that many crimes were solved in the past period, the trust of the citizens in the police has returned, 400 people are arrested and 1.8 tons of narcotics have been confiscated in the last two months.

When you join the ranks of the police, said Stefanovic to the students, we expect from you to show the same kind of sacrificed work and loyalty towards the state and the citizens.

Minister and the KPA dean Dragana Kolaric signed today an Agreement on vocational training profile for the performance of police tasks, so the certain number of students could find employment in the Ministry of Internal affairs.
