Kolinda's mysterious departure for Washington: She gave an interview in front of the White House, Croats don't understand what is she doing there
Many have started commenting that she could have chosen more official location to give an interview instead of the fence at White House
President of Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic have recently traveled to USA. It wouldn't be strange if the public was informed about her departure to Washington, but since that wasn't the case, Croats started asking about her "mysterious" travel.

Croatian citizens wanted to know if it comes to a business or a private trip.
Many have started commenting that she could have chosen more official location to give an interview instead of the fence at the White House. They think that is a location every tourist can visit.
If you already had a series of meetings in the US Congress, as she claims, she could have confirmed that by giving a statement in the Congress building or in front of it.

The suspicion hovers over her claims because she said in the interview that she spoke and met a lot of people, and she did not say any names.
She said that some of those people "announced on their Facebook profiles that they will meet her, but those are some renowned public figures that don't want to expose themselves".
The only thing reliable is that she met with Marc Rubio, senator from Florida, known for his religious fanaticism and saying that God is responsible for climate changes because "he wants to keeps us warm".
Croatian president in her appearance in "Dnevnik" news reminded Croats on Serbian prime minister Aleksandar Vucic, who met American vice president Joe Biden in 2015.
He gave a statement for media in front of fence of White House, as Kolinda did today. However, many point that there is a crucial difference, because Vucic met the vice president, Kolinda didn't.
She said that her visit is "focused on using the moment between two administrations, to position Croatia as best as possible in creating of American foreign politics".
