Former famous Yugoslav player, and now the coach of Chinese Guangzhou Dragan Stojkovic Piksi believes that Serbia can make a good result at the World Championship in Russia.

According to Novosti, prior to the first match of our national football team on the World Championship, which will be played on Sunday from 14:00h with Costa Rica, he said that the group can be completed successfully.

- I stand firmly behind what I said after the draw. Serbia has the players and the quality needed to earn them a place in the next round. We have a good group and a good schedule, a great chance to reach eight finals and we should use that. The first and the second match on the championship are crucial. 

- Of course, there are no easy opponents on the Mundial, so we must not underestimate the teams of Costa Rica and Switzerland, but, we shouldn't say that we are better than them. I am convinced in that - Piksi said.
