President of the World Association of Athletics Federations visited the works on the ne athletics hall in Belgrade and expressed satisfaction for all that Serbia is working to develop ''the queen of sports ''.

After the visit of Prime Minister of Serbia, President of the World Association of Athletics Federations Sebastian Coe, accompanied by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Vanja Udovicic, and the President of the Athletics Federation of Serbia, Veselin Jevrosimovic, visited the athletic hall that will be the new home of Serbian athletes.

President of the IAAF expressed satisfaction with the visit to Serbia and said that he had a constructive discussion with the Prime Minister and the Minister, and that he was glad to see how Serbia contributes to the development of athletics.

- I thank the Minister Udovicic, we had a very constructive meeting with Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic. We will be here in 2017 also. I am glad that Serbia contributes to the growth of our sport. This facility is good not only for Serbia but for the Balkans - said Sebastian Coe.

- I thank Coe, this is the first visit to our country by the President of the World Association of Athletics Federations. We expect on 19 December the completion of the hall, which means that athletics is finally getting its home - said Jevrosimovic.

Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic said that Serbia had passed the first official test and that it finishes everything within the deadline when it comes to the organization of the

European Championship in 2017, but that it will not stop there.

- Being the Minister it is my honor to host world-renowned athletes. I'm glad that I host Coe, Bubka and Sabo, so many Olympic medals here. We passed a formal test, to finish within the deadline the organization of the European Championship in 2017 and even go ahead of some deadlines.

- I am honored to be here in the company of such sport sizes. We also praise the Union, and we will not stop here, now we must show responsibility - said Udovicic.
