A man in Bosnia and Herzegovina survived a BEAR ATTACK

An unusual meeting took place in the Banja Luka settlement Rekavica 2 on Sunday at about five o'clock - Mile Kasapovic was attacked by a bear on the way to the shop, and it caused minor injuries to his chest.

Mile Kasapovic, a sixty-two-year-old local resident of Rekavica 2 in Banja Luka, says that everything happened with lightning speed when he went to buy some cigarettes, reports "Nezavisne".
- I was struck with fear when I met the bear, it stood on its back legs, his eyes were big and they were lit like two lamps. I stumbled and I rolled down the hill, I didn't even manage to run away - said Kasapovic.
Kasapovic was injured from the hit and he feels pain in the area of ribs and he claims that if he were closer, the bear would grab him.
He added that other locals had problems with this beast, but it was all material damage because bear smashed four hives and killed two sheep.
He said that the only thing left for him is to remain calm and to stand still until the pain leaves. He will keep his shirt for a reminder, and he plans on starting charges against the responsible people.
The people of Reklavica 2 say that they are afraid of their lives and for the livestock and other material damage. The closest neighbor of Mile Kasapovic said she was very afraid when she saw him with torn shirt on Sunday.
- I am afraid for the safety of my child, and then for my own. My husband is going to the river and nothing like this ever happened, but this now... - the local was stunned.
Hunting Association "Zmijanje" Banjaluka told us that they were on the scene after being informed about this event and it is presumed that it is just one bear.
They got the consent of the authorities to shoot the bear because the property and lives of people in that area were endangered.
- That is not the classic bear habitat, he is searching for food and water, he is wondering around, destroying hives because of the draft and the heat - they said from "Zmijanje".
