Meriton is a brother of Faton Shoshi, who in 2013 accused the agency of attempting to kidnap him, reports the Pristina newspaper.
Referring to an unnamed source, Koha reports that Thaci refuses to sign an appointment on the pretext that he is not linked to the case and that he can not, therefore, be at the helm of the agency.
