I wrote about that many times, mostly on this portal, but also in other places, about Belgrade. We, the reporters from Sarajevo, Banja Luka, and Zagreb, could see the fact that this is the only city in the SFRY which could have the title of a metropolis - wrote the Croatian journalist Vjekoslav Madunic, after the recent visit to our capital.

The entire region froze over this scene: Russian is taking a bath in the frozen lake in Montenegro, and then he went to "warm himself up" in Bar (VIDEO)

He stayed in Belgrade during a study visit organized by the Tourist Organization of Belgrade for journalists from the former Yugoslav republics.

He explained why he thinks that only Belgrade could be named metropolis on the portal fama.com.

- Because, it is not only about the location itself, all famous Knez Mihajlova street and the nearby streets, the Square of the republic and Terazije with the hotel Moscow, but the fact that if you want to have a drink at 23:00 or if you want to eat something 3-4 km away from the center of the city, you will surely be able to find something like that.

In the city where I live, you can get a drink at Tkalciceva street, all other bars start closing, and to eat something at this time of the day becomes rare. Of course, Zagreb is alive again at this time of the year - it is the time of the Advent - but it is a sad fact that everything will shut down again in January - Madunic said.

He further explained the tour he had with his colleagues from the Tourist Organization Miodrag Popovic and his associates.

They went to the home of Jevrem Grujic, and then to the exhibition of paintings by Milena Pavlovic Barili, and to the newly opened Museum of Illusions.

- This modern area can put any visitor in a good mood and it can educate everyone with its modern space with various visual and audio effects. A man feels joyful, happy, optimistic after the visit, which is not the case with all museums - he stated.

The next was the visit to the Yugoslav Drama Theater, more precisely, the play "Gate of Glass", directed by Jagos Markovic.

- I didn't know that the Aquarium and Tropicarium Belgrade was opened. In a classy part of the city, Dedinje, a group of enthusiasts managed to open this museum. We had a very well educated guide in the area where we could see animals from the Adriatic sea, and the other parts of the words... A general impression of all of us that this is a hard working enthusiastic team, surviving mostly from selling tickets, and it deserves the attention of the city and the state in maintaining this cleverly designed concept - he thinks.

Then there was a visit to the Museum of Modern art, and he ended his visit to Belgrade with a drink with Svetislav Basara, and the next day with buying cheese and cream on Green and Kalenic markets.
