The "Defense of Freedom" parade was held in Nis on the occasion of the Victory Day
Today, the Serbian Army and the police demonstrated the strength and capability in the military-police parade "Defense of Freedom" in Nis, which was attended by 4,000 soldiers, 300 vehicles and 40 aircraft. The display program included the ceremonial parade of the infantry echelon, the parade of the motorized echelon, the flight of an aircraft echelon and parachute descent. The parade was attended by the state leadership led by President Aleksandar Vucic.

VUCIC MARKED THE PARADE AS "VERY GOOD"
- I assess the officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers and members of the Internal Ministry, your efforts, your training, your love for Serbia, as very good - said President Vucic in Nis at the end of the presentation of the capabilities of the Serbian Military and the Internal Ministry on the Victory Day.

He thanked members of the army and police who "in an impressive way marked the Victory Day and showed how the debt was returned to those who created freedom".

The scene in Nis is magnificent, the tanks of the Serbian Military are passing by with Mig 29 flying over them.
Infantry fighting vehicles passed Bulevar Nikola Tesla Boulevard in Nis.
Among them were tanks of the Army of Serbia M-84 and the modernized tank T-72 caused a lot of applause.
Soldiers are equipped with the latest equipment and are in armored vehicles from the development "Lazarus 3", according to the project "1500 +".
The setup of modern Artillery weapons, "Sumadija", "nora b52", and "alas".
Setup 250 of rocket brigade represented the system "neva" which shot down the aircraft F-117 and F-16 in 1999. The system "kub" is also here.
First, helicopters were flying, including Mi-35 aircraft from the Russian Federation air force. After that, helicopters of the RS appeared in the sky.
The attention of the audience was drawn by the Mi-8, Mi-17 helicopters of the Serbian Armed Forces, and "Gazelle".
The cadets of the Military academy had a parade, the Gendarmerie, horsemen, and the resonance squad of the Second Brigade had a parade.
