The commander of Pristina's contingent, Avni Kidzin, spoke of what it means to participate in the "Immediate Response" exercise.

- As a young army, it is extremely important for us to participate in this exercise in order to check our interoperability with partner countries and NATO member states - he said.

The Croatian Army marks this year's 10th anniversary of Croatia's membership in NATO and will last until June 6th in the territory of Croatia and in the territory of Slovenia and Hungary.

The exercise involves 1,600 members of the armed forces of Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, USA, Poland, France, Great Britain, Lithuania, Northern Macedonia, Italy, and Germany.

The main goal of the exercise is to train military mobility or the mobility of multinational forces.

Dragan Sormaz, head of the Serbian Parliament delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO, recently commented for Telegraf.rs regarding the participation of Kosovo Security Forces in this exercise.

- That's not good. And we should react to that. They wouldn't be invited if that exercise was organized by NATO, since the alliance cannot recognize some state. There are the states of NATO who didn't recognize Kosovo. When NATO organizes some exercise, they wouldn't invite so-called Kosovo. This time, the invitation came from Croatia - said Sormaz.

The exercise was planned and conducted by the USEUCOM with the focus on training the forces of the A-5 Member States.

Croatia, Slovenia, and Hungary participate as co-organizers and hosts of the exercise.
