It is suspected that he killed his wife Mirjana (32), her mother Nada Pajic (57) and father Branislav Pajic (57), and he committed the crime in the suburb Telep in early morning hours.

It is presumed that the motive for this unprecedented crime is jealousy. Goran was convinced that Mirjana has someone else and that she is cheating on him. Mirjana reported him two weeks earlier for family violence and he received a restraining order.

The couple had two young children, two sons. Jankovic often published pictures of his sons, and everybody congratulated on a lovely family.

The boys attended the crime, and the older son called his uncle, Mirjana's brother who came quickly.

To recall, the murdered Mirjana Jankovic reported her husband for violence on May 11th. Telegraf found out that the police went to the house of the spouses and they made a record. They filed a criminal complaint about verbal and physical violence.

However, Goran didn't stay in prison, because the Basic public prosecution in Novi Sad didn't reach such a decision. Mirjana and Goran were married for several years and they parted for two times because he was violent towards her.

According to the neighbors of Pajic family, she recently returned to the family home of her parents where she was murdered on Friday.
