Deputy Director of the US National Security Council, John Erat, said he expects the United States to play a greater role in the process of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, but that they can not do so until the tax on Serbian products is in force.
As he said, the US advice to Pristina is to abolish taxes in order to for the dialogue to resume.
- I hope the way will be found. It is important to recall that, although taxes are an immediate disincentive, they were introduced with a reason in response to a campaign against recognition of Kosovo that Serbia has launched in international organizations - said Erat for "Voice of America".
