Brutal quadruple murder still unsolved: What was the killer's motive?

One week after the brutal quadruple murder that took place on 72-year-old Raja Kazimirovic's farm, in the hamlet of Vratna near Jabukovac, eastern Serbia, various versions of why and how the massacre occurred continue to circulate.

At the same time, the killer remains at large.

The assumption is that a well trained professional killer was in the yard of Kazimirovic, who was killed with five bullets, Zamedia is reporting.

This media outlet learned that that the killer would put a cloth or some piece of clothing over the face of each of his victims after murdering them. There is no blood at the crime scene now, or anything to suggest that a week ago a scene worthy of a horror movie was unfolding here.

The farm now looks eerie.

Sources close to the investigation say the killer searched the attic while the ground and first floors remained undisturbed.

Others, however, think that a paid killer was hired by someone who clashed with Kazimirovic, who has been described as having a temper. All those detained in this case so far have passed the lie detector test.

Raja Kazimirovic was killed in his backyard last week as he was returning home on a tractor. Other victims of the massacre include his mother Dragica (93), sister Ljubinka Oprikic (76) and niece Dragana Joveljićc(56).

The victims will be laid to rest on Thursday in Jabukovac.
