Mayor of Novi Sad Milos Vucevic says Novi Sad will receive 127 million euros from the new investment plan and announces the plan to build three bridges, as well as reconstruct the Karadjordje stadium and the SPENS venue.

Vucevic said that water and sewerage networks will continue to be built in those parts of the city that miss this infrastructure due to what he said has been a multi-decade failure to invest, and Novi Sad's unregulated expansion.

The plan is also to build a central wastewater treatment facility to the highest European standards and to continue rebuilding the road infrastructure.

"We are preparing projects to build a bridge that would connect the Evropa Boulevard with the Srem side (of the Danube), two pedestrian and bicycle bridges, underground garages, and reconstruct  the stadium Karadjordje and SPENS," said Vucevic.

He also said that access roads are being finalized around the new Zezelj Bridge, across which the Belgrade-Budapest express railway will go.
