The new Fiat 500 Giardiniera, which is expected to replace the 500-L model, is likely to be produced in Serbia, Italian media said a few days ago - and now this has been reported by the specialized Italian website clubalfa.it.

According to the Italian site that is citing Fiat management, Giardiniera is likely to be manufactured at the Fiat Chrysler car factory in Kragujevac, Serbia, where the 500-L is now manufactured.

According to Belgrade daily Politika, the Italian-American group has yet to confirm the news, while Giardinieras should roll off the production line no later than 2021.

This car will probably have an electric engine version as well.

Giardiniera means "flower pot" in Italian, but in this case it has a wider meaning as well, the newspaper said.
