The Security and Information Agency has confirmed for RTS the authenticity of a recording, in which Georgy Kleban is seen giving money to a supposedly high-ranking Serbian official. The BIA has confirmed that the footage features a Russian intelligence officer.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said earlier that she met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic early this morning and that he, as commander-in-chief of the Army, had ordered the VBA to investigate the affair.

Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin said Vucic was gathering information, adding that he expected to summon and gather all intelligence and counterintelligence chiefs during the day tomorrow, as well as the chief of staff of the Serbian Army.

The daily Blic previously said that a Russian diplomat and a member of the military intelligence service, Georgy Kleban, was in the video. He is seen giving the money to an allegedly high-ranking Serbian official.
