The Glisine Landslide is the most problematic part of the municipality is Lim. This problem has long been a dead-end, while the locals live in fear every day. However, experts from the Institute of Transportation CIP, Belgrade, who visited the town of Priboj and spoke with local leaders, are now taking part in solving this problem.

"The inclusion of CIP is our guarantee that we will come to a solution. During all these years as far as this problem has been current we have not been able to come up with a design (to solve it). We set out to do this as soon as possible, and then, we had the confirmation from the Office for Public Investment and Minister Zorana Mihajlovic that the funds are not a problem," said Lazar Rvovic, the municipality's mayor.

The Glisine Landslide is the largest landslide in this country - Milutin Ignjatovic, director of the CIP Institute, became aware of this problem in the 1980s and said that the solution would not be at all simple.

"When I saw that there was no one to do it, I accepted, in the hope that we would find some way to solve it permanently. Today I came with professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering Selimir Lelovic and one of my young colleagues from the Faculty of Mining and Geology, Dragutin Jevremovic, to see what difference there was compared to the 1980s, whether there had been any major movements. I don't see any drastic shifts. The riverbed of the Lim River should be regulated with retaining walls and embankments, and additional research must be done," Ignjatovic concluded.
