The Serbian president thanked Mitsotakis for "supporting international law on the issue of Kosovo, which is of exceptional importance for Serbia."

"Thank you for respecting the integrity of our country. At the same time, I would like to say that the Republic of Serbia, in accordance with its obligations arising from the UN Charter and the Convention on the Law of the Sea fully supports the territorial integrity of Greece both on land and at sea, related to the last crisis that hit the Mediterranean," said President Vucic.

Defense and security

When it comes to defense and security, the Serbian president recalled the good bilateral cooperation between the two countries and stressed that it will be fostered going forward.

"We already have good bilateral cooperation, we will continue to foster good relations in the field of military industry, exchange personnel, educate our people in Athens and Thessaloniki, yours in Belgrade. We cooperate through the so-called Helbroc battle group and I expect that next year we will have a bilateral, perhaps trilateral exercise with Greece and Cyprus in the territory of Serbia," he said.

Economy

The volume of trade between Serbia and Greece amounts to EUR 500 million and the volume of trade in services is approximately EUR 530 million. President Vucic expressed his belief that these figures could increase drastically.
