The Greek police are on their feet, the wider Athens area has been blocked in a bid to find the shooters who killed two high-ranking members of the Skaljari Clan, a Montenegrin criminal group.

At around 7 pm last night, in a well-known Greek tavern, Stevan Stamatovic (43) and Igor Dedovic (43) were shot with more than 20 bullets in front of children who were in their company while they were having dinner.

Four masked assailants (they were wearing hoods) participated in the liquidation, and they didn't care about the fact that three children, aged 6 to 10, were sitting at the table at the time of the attack. After the bloody mayhem, the attackers calmly exited the restaurant, got into a car and fled in an unknown direction.

One man died immediately after sustaining his injuries, still sitting in a restaurant chair, while the other passed away after being admitted to the hospital.

One woman was injured in the leg, probably from a ricochet, and is believed to be the wife of one of the killed Skaljari Clan members.

Due to shock from witnessing the cold-blooded murders, one child was given psychological help.

9 millimeter caliber casings were found at the scene, fired from two different pistols.

Eyewitnesses to the bloody incident say the killers were cool-headed.

"They walked into the restaurant calmly, then there were suddenly gunshots. Everyone started screaming and running away, and then they calmly went out and left," said one eyewitness.

According to eyewitnesses, the victims were dining on the restaurant's second floor.
