Catastrophe in Novi Pazar: 10 people die from coronavirus during the night

Due to the consequences of coronavirus, as many as 10 people died in Novi Pazar during the night, coordinator of the Novi Pazar hospital Doctor Mirsad Djerlek told TV Prva.

As he stated, these are elderly patients and he stressed that no younger person passed away.

"A difficult night is behind us, we had 10 deaths, all of them are people older than 75, none of them lost their lives because they were not given medical care," said Djerlek.

Otherwise, a team of doctors from Bosnia and Herzegovina is arriving in Novi Pazar today to help this southwestern Serbian town fight coronavirus.

Doctor Djerlek added that not everything is so black, because more than 80 people from Novi Pazar have been cured.

"This morning we have 290 people in the hospital, more than 85 people have been cured, which is an encouraging situation," he said.
