President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic toured today the construction site of the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases Dedinje 2 in Belgrade, after which he addressed the public and took questions from journalists.

As he pointed out, he is not looking forward to meeting (Avdulah) Hoti and will not enjoy it there (in Brussels), but that this is his job and he has to fight for the country.

"What worries me is the question of the ability of the Albanian delegation to make its own decisions. The dialogue is formally a bureaucratic topic, and it all came down to Thaci in The Hague. They are in favor of passing a law that will let them arrest anyone who says anything against the KLA, and I also asked people in Brussels if anything could be achieved in this way. As far as Belgrade is concerned, we will do our best," he concluded.

When it comes to SNS rallies, he said that there had been none, and that he thinks everyone from his party has behaved seriously and responsibly.

When asked by journalists whether he wears a mask indoors, he said that he does not endanger anyone and that he wears a mask, and doesn't shake hands with the people he meets. As Vucic pointed out, he removes the mask only if he is at a safe distance from the interlocutor, that is, at a meter and a half.

"I will accept your criticism because you are right, I should lead by example. I will try to show by personal example once again how much we all need to be more responsible because it's a serious illness," said Vucic.

Meetings in Brussels

"We will fight for the interests of Serbia and the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija, that is our goal and our job. I don't even know how long the meetings will last, first we have one with Charles Michel, and then the start of dialogue negotiations," he said.

When it comes to the meeting in Brussels, he said there are two topics, one regarding missing persons, and the other the flow of goods and people.

When asked about the meeting with representatives of minorities, as part of the process of forming a new government after parliamentary elections in Serbia, he said that he had fair talks, that he listened to requests, wishes and proposals and that he will meet with those people again in the next 10 days and say how he sees it all, and to whom he plans to entrust a mandate to form the new government.
