Huge fire in Nis, billows of smoke: Paint and varnish warehouse burning, firefighters at the scene

A large fire broke out this morning in the industrial zone in Mramorsko Brdo in Nis.

According to initial information, a paint and varnish warehouse is burning. For now, there is no official information about the extent of the fire, but billows of thick smoke are coming from that direction.

At first, eight firefighters with two fire trucks intervened to put out the fire, but four more teams joined them, and then two more.

Firefighting crews are on the the ground, working to keep the fire from spreading.

As has been announced by the Ministry of Interior, 18 firefighters are participating in the effort, while the fire broke out at 8:40 am.

There are also two ambulance crews at the scene. As Telegraf.rs has learned, no one has been injured, while one woman was treated for anxiety.
