Kisic-Tepavcevic on the ministry she will lead and the fight against coronavirus

The candidate for the position of Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, Darija Kisic-Tepavcevic, says that she will perform her new job along with the coronavirus pandemic.

"All the work we have been doing so far and that we will be doing, we do in the light of the pandemic. Everything is limited and it should be the duty of all of us no matter what office we hold. The role of each of us is to prevent infections and further transmission of the infection. And that will be the future fight, whatever new duty or obligation we may have," said Kisic-Tepavcevic.

She stressed that she does not want to talk about it in more detail, but also that the ministry under her leadership covers precisely those competencies and those facilities where the danger of coronavirus spreading is the greatest.

"Nursing homes, and we know that if it is allowed to enter there, these are real hotspots and challenges for every nation and population. There is a wide range of other activities and other departments. At this point, we need to look at everything through the prism of the virus that surrounds us. If we want to return to normal life, we must first put this virus under control and do everything as the world's population to eliminate it," concluded Kisic-Tepavcevic.
