Drivers go wild with their Mercedes and BMW near Sremska Mitrovica speeding at almost 250 kmph

Both drivers received fines of 140,000 dinars each and a 9-month ban on driving a motor vehicle

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Traffic Police Administration, stopped two drivers for aggressive driving on the Belgrade-Sid highway near Sremska Mitrovica during traffic control they carried out using the so-called "interceptors."

The police officers filed a misdemeanor complaint for aggressive driving against a 41-year-old who drove a Mercedes at a speed of 246.9 kilometers per hour on a highway where the speed limit is 130 kilometers per hour.

On the same day, the police filed a misdemeanor complaint against another 41-year-old, this time one driving a BMW, and speeding at 236.8 kilometers per hour, on a highway where the speed limit is 130 kilometers per hour.

The misdemeanor court sentenced the perpetrators to fines of 140,000 dinars each and revoked their driving licenses for nine months.
