A big storm was raised on social networks due to the fact that there were several hundred red-and-white fans at the basketball match in Belgrade between Red Star and Turkey's Fenerbahce.

These were members of the Assembly of the club, of the Board of Directors, and the owners of the most expensive season tickets, who were seated in one of the Pionir venue's stands, and watched the game live.

Although a ban on gatherings due to the coronavirus epidemic is still in force in Serbia, and fans have been absent from stadiums and arenas for several months now - in the open, and especially indoors - these pictures from Pionir have raised questions for doctors.

Immunologist Dr. Srdja Jankovic was a guest on the RTS morning program where he was asked about the fact that there was an audience at the Red Star vs. Fenerbahce match.

He answered that the need people feel to participate in activities that are a part of life, including attending sporting events, is very understandable.

"No one can be condemned for that. But, as an immunologist, I appeal on patience and distancing ourselves from the risk," said Srdja Jankovic.
