The world's best tennis player, Novak Djokovic, arrived in Australia on a charter flight from Barcelona, traveling together with Dominic Thiem and Rafael Nadal, and he will spend the next 14 days in quarantine in Adelaide, where he will play show matches against the biggest tennis stars on January 29 and 30.

Novak spent the Orthodox New Year on the plane, so he decided to congratulate the Serbs on the holiday with a day's delay.

"To the Serb kind, I wish a happy Serb New Year 7529," says Djokovic's post on Instagram, that also features an image of the highest god in Slavic mythology - Perun, the god of lightning and thunder.

Novak Djokovic admitted a few months ago during quarantine that he was very interested in Slavic mythology and the origins of the Slavs themselves, as well as that he was studying an alternative history of the Serbs, according to which they are "a heavenly people."
