Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic was on TV Prva this morning when he revealed what the ride on the future railway from Belgrade to Novi Sad will look like.

"In less than a year, when you are traveling to Novi Sad in 27-28 minutes, you won't have the time to have that coffee or tea that passengers will receive for free with the ticket," says Vucic, referring to the new fast railway Belgrade-Budapest, the first phase of which is being built on the section Belgrade Center-Novi Sad."

As he said, the ticket price will be slightly higher than the equivalent of 8 euros.

"I think that the ticket will cost only 1,000 dinars, that is 8 euros, a little more than 8 euros, the toll alone costs 400 and some dinars, not to mention the fuel," Vucic pointed out, referring to driving from Belgrade to Novi Sad.

The next step is the purchase of three electric trains that will be able to reach the speed of 200 kilometers per hour, which is the designed speed on the majority of that railway.

"You will have the most beautiful view, you will have the most comfortable ride and you will arrive as quickly as possible in the most exclusive trains for the money, we will have the most beautiful trains in Europe. We buy Swiss Stadlers and double deckers. You go upstairs with the most beautiful view when you arrive at the slope in Cortanovci, and then look at the Danube," Vucic pointed out.

The high-speed railway is being built in two sections: Belgrade-Stara Pazova by the Chinese, and Stara Pazova-Novi Sad, which is being built by a Russian company.
