Coronavirus confirmed in 210 people in one day, 10 patients die, 29 are still on ventilators

In the past 24 hours coronavirus was confirmed in 210 more people in Serbia, as 10 more patients died from Covid.

557 patients are hospitalized for the disease across Serbia, 29 of whom breathe through ventilators.

11,050 people were tested in the last 24 hours, of which 1.90 percent came back positive.

There were 47 new cases in Belgrade, 8 in Zajecar, 7 in Novi Sad, 6 in Leskovac, Uzice, Nova Varos, Sremska Mitrovica, Kragujevac, Jagodina and Zrenjanin had five new cases each.  There have been fewer than five positive cases in other towns.

A total of 4,764,287 doses of Covid vaccines have been administered in Serbia so far. The total number of citizens who received both doses is now 2,168,198.

Since the beginning of the epidemic until today, coronavirus has been confirmed in Serbia in 713,417 people out of 4,196,260 of those who got tested.

So far, the Covid epidemic has claimed 6,900 lives in Serbia.
