Novi Pazar once again has bleak Covid numbers: 7 patients die during one day

During the past 24 hours, seven Covid patients died in the Novi Pazar General Hospital, six from Novi Pazar and one from Tutin, the local Emergency Situations Headquarters has announced.

Another 14 people were hospitalized, 11 of whom are from Novi Pazar and three from Raska, while three patients got discharged for home treatment, writes Indeks Online.

Currently, 175 patients are being treated in this town, of which 10 are on ventilators, while eight are on oxygen support.

336 people reported to the Covid ambulance at the Healthcare Center over the past day, of which 165 saw the doctor for the first time for coronavirus symptoms.

Of the 152 rapid antigen tests performed from nasal swabs, 55 were positive, while 101 PCR tests were also done.
