Senicic: I have no information that getting Covid vaccine will be condition for entering EU

The director of the National Association of Tourist Agencies of Serbia, Aleksandar Senicic, told Tanjug that he has no information that full immunization will be a condition for entering some European Union member-states from January 1, as some media have reported.

"It's is true that it is mentioned in informal conversations, but no one has officially announced it, and the fact that it's mentioned does not necessarily mean that it will be adopted," says Senicic.

He stressed that various ideas can now be heard, but that they are not concrete.

Senicic also recalled that some countries insist on vaccines as a condition for entering restaurants, hotels and the like, and it remains to be seen whether that will eventually become a condition for entering those countries themselves.
