Fireworks and light effects from Belgrade Tower could be seen from many parts of the city
The end of the old and the arrival of the new (Serbian) year was accompanied by midnight fireworks and a laser show from Belgrade Tower (a part of Belgrade Waterfront).

Because of the current epidemiological situation, and a large number of new Covid cases, a concert that was supposed to take place on the Sava Promenade was postponed.
The light spectacle lasted for three and a half minutes, and Belgraders could watch it from the Sava Promenade, the Old Sava Bridge, Kalemegdan, New Belgrade, Banovo Brdo and other parts of the city.
The first fireworks display from Belgrade Tower, held on Serbian New Year's Eve, attracted a lot of attention from domestic and international media.
