The world's best tennis player, Novak Djokovic, is still on a forced vacation, after the Australian authorities canceled his visa and deported him from the country ahead of the Australian Open.

Instead of preparing tactics for the final stages of the tournament, where he would surely have fought to defend his nine-time title, Nole is spending his time in Serbia among those closest to him.

On Thursday, he was seen in the Temple of St. Sava in Belgrade where he, along with his mother Dijana and father Srdjan he attended liturgy, and on that occasion also took communion. The children who were present and soon surrounded Novak were delighted to see him.

Afterwards his father Srdjan took to social networks, revealing some more interesting details.

"Today, along with several hundred believers, we attended liturgy in the Temple of Saint Sava, which was served by Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church Porfirije, in the name of the sacred memory of Saint Sava. It is best to celebrate holidays with the family, and the smiling children who saw Novak especially filled our hearts. Happy Saint Sava Day to all Orthodox believers," Srdjan Djokovic wrote on Instagram and published photos of the time the family spent with the patriarch.

Novak will have more free time for a while, and then will head to Dubai, since he confirmed that he will participate in a tournament there at the end of February. It will be his first competition in 2022.
