Sputnik Light vaccine could be produced in Serbia: "We are convinced that Torlak can contribute"

The director of the Gamaleya Research Institute, Alexander Ginzburg, says that talks are underway regarding the production of the coronavirus vaccine Sputnik Light at the Torlak Institute in Serbia.

In an interview with today's Politika, Ginzburg said that Sputnik Light has been approved in more than 30 countries and that this one-component version of Sputnik V is a universal booster of other vaccines.
"It's too early to reveal concrete details... We are convinced that Serbian virologists from the Torlak Institute can make a significant contribution to its global production," he said.
