Serbia is preparing for the winter, but not only when it comes to alternatives for oil, but also other fuels.

"A big tanker from Indonesia is leaving for Kolubara right now. It's transporting quality coal. We need to secure ourselves regarding Kolubara, and the winter," Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said at the opening of an MTU plant.

According to him, Serbia is preparing to import oil from other sources, but weight and quality must be taken into account. He pointed out that more details will be known tomorrow.

"I think that unfortunately we will not be exempted from the ban on import of Russian oil, that is why we are preparing to buy other oil, tomorrow you will hear our response, there will be important decisions for Serbia," said Vucic.
