Mayor of Paracin municipality declared its THE BEST in all parameters in Serbia!

Mayor of Paracin, Sasa Paunovic, said that the best municipality in Serbia is Paracin  and according to all the parameters by which are used to measure the work of municipalities.

- At the end of last year and the year before, we had a surplus in the budget, we have no surplus clerks, Paracin was named the most transparent municipality - said Paunovic, on the traditional press conference held on the occasion of the Municipality Day on 27 September.

He noted that he was not sure that it will continue to have a surplus in the budget "due to changes in the law on the financing of municipalities and cities and reducing funds to local self-governments".

When it comes to employees in local administration, Paracin has no excess officials in the administration, in fact, it competes for first place in Serbia when it comes to the municipalities of similar size, according to a small number of officials in relation to the population.

- Long-term liabilities of the municipal budget are now less than 1.5 percent and will be paid until the end of 2017, which means that we can think about the financing of capital projects with the help of loans - said Paunovic.

He promised to the people of Paracin a fountain in the center, which will be built in the context of work on the renovation of the public areas and he reminded that the completion of the construction or upgrading of 25 objects of entrepreneurs are in motion, which are expected to generate new jobs.
