What is life REALLY like in cities in Serbia and which one is THE MOST EXPENSIVE and which one is THE CHEAPEST to live it: You will be surprised!

In Leskovac for a "red bill" you can have a dental filling and drink two espressos in downtown, or buy vegetables and fruit from the change you have left from the dentist. If you don't need the dentist, then for the same amount, you can get 50 kilos of potatoes and 25 kilos of apples on their local market.

Nis is really affordable where you could buy 10 burgers for 1000 dinars, drink 10 espresso coffees or pay six large beers. If you are one of those who prefer spending money on household, then you could buy 7.5 liters of detergent or 2.5 kilos of chicken breasts.

Kragujevac, Majdanpek, Ivanjica, Sremska Mitrovica and Vrsac also stand out for  their affordable prices, writes Blic.

Even though many consider Belgrade to be the most expensive one, not all prices are highest in the main city. There, for a pack of 68 diapers is cheaper with the price of 1.500 dinars. Only Subotica and Sremska Mitrovica are cheaper. But beer, apples, chicken meat or taxi service is the most expensive.

Bread, as the most expensive basic grocery is the most expensive in Jagodina with the price of 34.5 dinars, but there is no cheaper one than in Subotica with 18 dinars.

Apples are the cheapest in Smederevo and Novi Sad costing 35 dinars for kilo, while the most expensive are in Sremska Mitrovica - 80 dinars.

As we mentioned, kilo of chicken breasts is the most expensive in Belgrade (600) dinars, but in Leskovac you can buy for the same money 3 kilos of the same meat.

Majdanpek is not the place where you should buy detergent, because you have to pay 350 dinars for 1.5 liters, while in Jagodina you get 3 liters and 50 dinars change.

Repair of teeth, fillings or installation is the cheapest in Leskovac (800 dinars), but in Kragujevac you have to give three times as much (2.500) dinars.

"Blic" research also determined that the prices of the same products in markets don't have to be similar, on the contrary, the same goes with fast food places where burgers can go up to twice the price.
