The transport of meat and milk between Serbia and "Kosovo" starts

Veterinary certificates for meat, milk and their products will start to be implemented from February 15, which will allow the transport of the goods to the Kosovo market, said the president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Cadez Marko, who announced the opening of office in Bujanovac and Presevo.

Cadez said that after the meeting in Bujanovac attended by around 50 businessmen from the municipalities from the south of Serbia, as well as 11 representatives of companies from Kosovo, lead by the president of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce Safet Grdzaliju.   

 

Cavez announced in his statement to the reporters that the application of veterinary certificates from 15. February is very important for businessmen. because without them, the selling of those products is not possible on the customs territory of Kosovo, nor from Kosovo to central part of Serbia.

 

President of Chamber of Commerce of Serbia said that the completion of highway towards Macedonia is especially significant for the development of the economy of this area, it is an important pre-requisite for more successful business on the south of Serbia.

 

That project is a great chance which will change the economic picture of Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja - said Cadez and added that Chambers of Commerce must meet and search for new chances and possibilities,  business ideas, for the entire region.

 

Cadez said that Serbian Chamber of Commerce will open offices in Presevo and Bujanovac for that reason, which will provide support for businessmen, will enable their connection and exchange of ideas.

 

He announced the promotions of business potentials of Bujanovac and Presevo in Novi Sad, Kragujevac and Belgrade in February, and in Pristina in January.

 

- Every new concluded work between business delegations is a contribution to the local development and brings the benefit to municipalities and citizens - pointed out Cadez.

President of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce said that the meeting is very good opportunity for partnership, dialogue and strengthening of cooperation.

 

- Heroes of the modern age in Serbia and Kosovo are the ones dealing with economy, provide new work places and economic growth - underlined Grdzaliju.

 

President of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce pointed that Serbia has positive economic trends, good trade agreements, strong diplomatic economy.

 

Stating that Kosovo and Serbia have two common enemies - low economic growth and high unemployment rate, Grdzaliju pointed that the dialogue must be strengthened through economic development, which would later contribute to strengthening of political and social peace and stability and would improve the integration process.

 

Pointing that region must promote the idea "one region - one market", Grdzaliju stressed that we must first be ready for economic integrations and removing of business barriers.

 

Meeting in Bujanovac attended by around 50 businessmen from the municipalities from the south of Serbia, as well as 11 representatives of companies from Kosovo.

 

They exchanged information about the possibility of cooperation.

 

Cades talked with the businessmen from Presevo and Bujanovac about production and transport plans, as well about the services and the support of Serbian Chamber of Commerce to the development of economy.

 

The important topic will be removal of barriers for more successful business between companies and businessmen and their connecting with the companies from the region.
