The Serbian passport is more valuable than the one from the SFRY: We can travel to 111 countries without visa

You can travel to almost 60 percent of the countries of the world with our passport without visa, which is more than in the time of Tito's Yugoslavia. Serbia is just one of the 11 countries that doesn't need visa for China

Serbian citizens can travel to more countries than in Tito's time without visa, reports the media. Currently we are one of 11 countries in the world that doesn't need visa for China, and out of "serious" countries, we need visa for USA, Great Britain, Canada and Australia.

- We have a visa-free regime with 111 countries of the world, of which 30 are entered by obtaining a formal visa at the border, for which no special permission is required. On the other hand, for 88 countries, our citizens do not have to seek visas at all - they told Informer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is being worked on improving the visa regime with USA, Canada and Britain.

- Visas are introduced out of safety reasons and terrorist threats, but also for economic migrations, and it is very good that our country is outside those trends.
