In 12 hours, the number of patients infected with coronavirus at the temporary hospital in Cair has doubled and 136 patients are now cared for there.
Professor Dr. Goran Stanojevic, coordinator of the hospital, said that there were 138 of them last night, but that two had been transferred to the Clinic for Infectis Diseases due to deterioration of their clinical picture, the daily Novosti writes.

Cair accommodates patients from all over southeastern Serbia who are positive for coronavirus and have a mild clinical picture.
It is expected that the hospital's capacity will be filled during the day and new facilities will be opened.
The capacity is 260 beds.
