Momcilo Krajisnik passes away

Krajisnik was admitted to the Clinic two weeks ago with bilateral pneumonia

The first president of the National Assembly of the Serb Republic (RS) Momcilo Krajisnik passed away today from coronavirus at the Clinic of Intensive Care Medicine of the University Clinical Center of the RS, Srpskainfo is reporting.

Krajisnik passed away this morning at around 6 o'clock.

"We are informing the public and the media that this morning, September 15, 2020, Momcilo Krajisnik, the first speaker of the National Assembly of the RS, died at 06:00 hours in the Clinic of Intensive Care Medicine for non-surgical branches of the University Clinical Center of the RS, as a result of coronavirus infection," the Clinic announced.

He was previously admitted to the Clinic with bilateral pneumonia, said the director of that health institution, Vlado Djajic.

On August 29, Krajisnik was urgently transferred from Pale, where he resided, to the Clinic in Banja Luka.
