Vucic offers his condolences over the death of Russian Minister Yevgeny Zinichev

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today sent a telegram of condolences on the occasion of the death of Yevgeny Zinichev, the Minister of Emergency Situations in the Government of the Russian Federation, stating:

"I received with sadness the news of the tragic death of Minister Yevgeny Zinichev, who dedicated his life to saving others under the most difficult situations. I express my deepest condolences to the Government of the Russian Federation, the family, colleagues and friends of Minister Zinichev," President Vucic said in his message of condolences.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations issued a statement today saying that Yevgeny Zinichev (55) died on duty while rescuing a person during an interdepartmental drill in the Arctic Zone.
