EU Special Envoy for Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak will arrive in Belgrade and in Pristina on October 21 together with the advisors for foreign policy and security of the French president, the German chancellor and the Italian prime minister, as well as the US Envoy for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar, when they will meet with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, and Prime Minister of Pristina's provisional institutions Albin Kurti.

EU spokesman Peter Stano has confirmed this to journalists and added that the purpose of the visit is to achieve concrete progress in the implementation of the agreement on the path to normalization and deescalation after the latest events.

According to Stano, the EU, its member states and the US remain strong supporters of normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina and the European future of the entire region.
