A series of earthquakes shook Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro in the early hours of the morning

A strong earthquake, which hit Montenegro around 4 o'clock this morning, has caused landslides in the Golija region.

The epicenter, which according to the Seismological Survey of Serbia, had a magnitude of 5.7, was 5 kilometers southwest of Carodje, 30 kilometers north of Niksic, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and happened at a depth of 14 kilometers.

The earthquake caused landslides in the Golija region, which blocked traffic on this section of the road.

After the strong one, a series of aftershocks followed. In the last five hours, more than 30 earthquakes were registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in Montenegro.

It is not possible to predict whether Montenegro and the region will be hit by a stronger earthquake after this.

This morning's earthquake even woke up people as far away as in Belgrade.
