Local elections in Serbia were held on Sunday in 89 cities and municipalities. According to the first estimates by CESID and IPSOS, the list around SNS has won the most votes in the largest cities - Belgrade, Nis, and Novi Sad.

The oresident of Serbia and member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Aleksandar Vucic, assessed, after yesterday's local elections in which the list around the SNS achieved a convincing victory, that Serbia is entering a new era and stressed that now everyone has a clear and open mandate for the reforms and changes necessary for Serbian society.
