After the match, Novak worried fans in Serbia when he said he was concerned about injury.
Afterwards, an RTS journalist asked Novak what needs to happen ahead of Friday's match. Novak paused for a moment, then pulled a cross out of his shirt, looked at the sky and kissed the cross.
"What needs to happen? (Kisses the cross) That needs to happen. I pray to God that everything will be okay," Novak said.
