He is suspected of inflicting several blows to the head and body of the 23-year-old victim, who was his emotional partner. The woman died from her injuries.
The senior public prosecutor in Krusevac ordered that the suspect be detained for up to 48 hours in police custody, after which he will be brought to the prosecutor's office along with a criminal complaint.
