The United States has postponed the implementations of sanctions against Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) until July 29, K1info has learned.

Last week, the NIS company submitted a new request to the US Treasury Department for a special license, which postpones the full implementation of US sanctions.

The goal of the request is to enable the company to operate smoothly even after June 27, i.e. after the expiration of the period stipulated in the previous license issued on April 25.
