"As the president of the Serbian Progressive Party, I strongly condemn the arrest of Milan Knezevic, the leader of the Serbs in Montenegro. The behavior of the Montenegrin police can only be described as violence, and nothing else," Vucevic stated in a post on X, and added:
"His only 'sin' is that he defended the will of the citizens expressed in a referendum held in the Zeta village of Botun. Full support to Milan, our compatriot, brother, and friend. The Progressives truly stand with you. Your fight for the interests of Serbs in Montenegro is an example of true patriotism."
