Student List makes statement about Postanska Stedionica bank

Representatives of the Student List have commented on an investigation into the operations of Banka (bank) Postanska Stedionica, in a post on their official account on X.

"We call on citizens to remain calm and to rely on verified information about the operations of Postanska Stedionica. Measures to preserve the bank's liquidity are already being implemented. People close to the outgoing regime, by suddenly withdrawing large amounts of money, created pressure on the liquidity of Postanska Stedionica. Citizens must not pay the price of their election defeat," the post said, and continued:

"We will do everything in our power to protect the interests of citizens and contribute to preserving the banking system when the Student List officially comes to power. We invite the National Bank of Serbia and all competent institutions to take all necessary measures to protect clients and to regularly inform the public about the situation in the bank.

We urge the media, analysts, experts and anyone who speaks publicly on this topic to verify information before presenting it. Spreading unverified claims and causing panic can further threaten the interests of citizens."
