Veselin Jevrosimovic, owner of the ComTrade, wrote about smart glasses in the ''Informer'' daily news, and he mentioned couple of other interesting projects that could change lives around the globe.

Here is what he wrote.

''Recently Google announced the halt of the production and sales of their Google Glass  smart glasses - an instrument that had bright future ahead, device that promised a step into the future in which our reality would be expanded by constant internet data. It turned out that, besides their price, they carried numerous problems connected to privacy, safety and ergonomy of daily wearing them.

The time of mass usage of these gadgets has not yet come, however, this does not necessarily mean that obstacles like these will not be soon overcame. Tablets, for example, were made long before iPad showed up but before they reached their peak we had to wait for few years for the market to adjust. The users and technological solutions simply did not match it. For that same reason Google did not give up on their project and i believe that it will wait for the right moment.

Microsoft, on the other hand, presented their HoloLens. It is similary conceptualized, but made in such way that evaded the obstacle that had ''tripped'' Glass. They are also glasses that expand the reality but are used in closed rooms, in homes and offices. Their use is somewhat different because of that. HoloLens introduces holograms in our area of view which adjust to the space around us thus providing us with completely fresh experience in using software, multimedia and video games.

The objects, that were until now ''stuck'' on the two-dimensional picture we will now be able to see and control in the space around us. We will use the most natural moves to control the interface. Should it proves useful, HoloLens could find its place in industry, science, medicine and education. Judging by the experience I had with Microsoft Kinekt motion capture I could say that the recipe is right and this could be the first phase of smart glasses usage.
