Six more days left until the historical challenge of Serbian twin brothers, on the match Serbia-Switzerland!

A completely unusual situation will take flight at a friendly match between two teams in Stara Pazova, as two players, Dalibor and Dejan Zunic, members of Basel will play against each other

The unusual situation will be seen at the game between the cadet national team of Serbia and Switzerland, whick will take place on April 21st, on the soccer field in Stara Pazova, because it will be there, that two twin brothers, Dalibor and Dejan Zunic will play against each other. For the first time in the history of our soccer, two twin brother will play for two different teams.

Even though at a club level it is not something you do not see every day, at a national level it is very different and unusual.

Nine minute older, Dalibor was invited by Serbian selector Milan Djuricic, while younger brother, Dejan, started the qualification cycle in the selection of the country where his parents live.

Both are members of Basel, where they both hold the position of left side defense, Dalibor is left back, and Dejan is left outside. For their family, it will be somewhat of an awkward situation, but it shouldn't be in the future, because both will one day wear the jersey of the country of origin of their parents.

- Last winter, Dejan went through preparations with the Swiss, and has been on their preliminary list for the past six months. They just called him, and we are all a bit surprised. If they are both good enough to be called for the national team, then there is no doubt who they'll play for. Now, it is our wish that Dejan finishes off the cycle with Switzerland, because that would only be fair on our part, but we had no clue they would play against Serbia - said their father, Milos.
